I will then go home, develop the film, and surprise you with some amazing moments captured through this artistic medium. I only shoot one roll per wedding offering truly unique images. This mixture of film and digital constitute a major part of my style.

How can I book your services for my wedding day?

Booking your date is simple!
The first thing you need to do is complete this form: Click here.
Once completed, you will have the opportunity to meet with me in person or by phone if you live in another part of the country, view and sign your contract and pay your retainer fee (25% of the total) online. Once I receive both contract and retainer fee, your date will be booked! The process is done complely online for your conveneince and is simple, painless, and secure.

What is your payment schedule?

Upon signing your contract, you will be required to pay the retainer fee. I am able to schedule you on a monthly or bi-monthly payment plan at your request. Otherwise, you are free to pay as much or as little as you want between the day you booked and a month before your wedding date. Final payments on either choice are due 30 days prior to your wedding date.

In the event that I have to cancel my wedding, is the retainer refundable?

The retainer is non-refundable. The retainer ensures you that I will reserve that day exclusively for you and that I will have no other assignments on that day.

How far from our wedding date should we book you?

You may book me at any time, but I strongly recommend booking sooner than later to ensure that your day will be available. I generally accept bookings up to two years in advanced.

If we need you to stay longer on our wedding day, will you stay?

Yes I will! Following your approval, I will stay over time and bill you when you return from your glorious honeymoon. At that point, you may chose to keep me or both (2nd shooter and myself) until the hours you decide. The overtime fee per hour is $300.00.

Do you offer discounts for men and women in the armed forces and/or law enforcement?

Our men and women of the armed forces as well as those in the police and fire departments are held with great respect and admiration for their personal sacrifices. As a token of my appreciation, I apply a 15% discount of your selected wedding coverage. Proper identification must be provided in order to receive the discount.

Do we need to feed you on our wedding day?

Yes. After eight or ten hours of work, you can expect that my team and I will be in major need of some fuel to carry on throughout your event; therefore it is important that you make those preparations with your catering manager prior to your wedding. We will only eat when you eat in order to maximize our coverage and avoid missing out on anything.

Do you travel outside of your area?

I love traveling! If you are thinking of an intimate getaway wedding or live outside of my local area, I am more than willing to travel to you. You tell me where and I’ll be there. I invite you to check out my destination wedding packages if you are interested in my coverage. Travel and stay accommodations are included for some countries including: Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, The Bahamas, and Cuba.

If your wedding is in Canada or the US, these would be considered Local weddings and travel charges will apply where applicable.

Will I always get Rodrigo as my primary photographer?

Yes you will! Unless something such as an act of God (hurricane, fire, etc.) or serious illness or death prevents me from attending your wedding! In that case, you will be provided with another professional to cover your event. You are not only hiring me for my phenomenal work, but also excellent customer service.

Will Rodrigo come with assistants or is it all done by himself?

In order to keep my focus on you, I make sure to bring all the helping hands I need. My wedding team includes a second photographer (if applicable) and an assistant to help us during your day. This way, I am able to devout my entire self to you and you alone.

What is your turnaround time for our images?

Your wedding images should be posted online two to three weeks after your wedding day (often it is done within one week) along with a first draft of your album. Within the first week, you will also be provided with some of my own personal favorites for you to post in your facebook, myspace, and twitter accounts or personal website or blog.

How many images do you shoot per wedding?

I never give an exact number because every wedding is different. I tend to shoot for quality and not quantity but you can expect a range between 600 and 1,000 images. The most important thing to remember is not the amount of photographs that you receive, but the quality of the photographs. In this digital world, we often mistake quantity for quality. Your wedding is precious and should require the best possible quality.

Can I have a DVD will all the digital negatives?

Yes. Exactly on your one-year anniversary, you will receive a beautiful case with your digital negatives stored in a DVD along with the rights to duplicate and print your images for personal use at any time and anywhere. This is just another way of making that first year anniversary even more special!

Are you available to cover my rehearsal and/or bridal shower?

Sure I am! Of course, every day is subject to availability, but if I have that date available, I am more than happy to cover those special events as well. The fee for this type of coverage is $485.00 per three hours.

Do you design your own albums?

Yes I do! I take care of the entire work flow and I do not commission anybody to do the work for me. My clients are too important to be handled by third-parties. Each album is designed from scratch and no templates are used. This guarrantees that no albums are the same. I use one of the best album companies based in italy called GraphiStudios. They are amazing and the quality is superb. You will be very happy with your wedding album!

Will I be able to shop for my wedding images online?

Yes! Your wedding photographs will be posted online within two weeks after your wedding day for upto three months. You may share the link with family and friends as well as purchase professional prints.

What is your style of photography?

My wedding style is all about you! From the moment we meet to the day of your wedding, I strive to discover and capture your uniqueness. No two human beings are alike and therefore, no two couples are the same. I let my images speak for themselves, but I’d like to point out that I am in love with saturated colors and contrasty black and whites. I’m not a heavy user of Photoshop to add effects (but only to retouch blemishes and make small corrections) and I seldom use textures to alter images not because I am against it, but because that is not my style. Of course, if you would like something like that I would be more than happy to do it. To me, the essence of photography is found in the relationship between the light, the subject, and the person capturing the interaction of the two, not in the post processing. When I shoot, I try to make the best possible image and composition in the camera, giving you a more precise service. During your engagement session, you will often find me showing you in real time how your images are coming out.

Do you take formal portraits?

Yes. I take formal portraits only upon client’s request prior to their wedding day. It is always helpful to discuss these with anticipation in order to give them the correct amount of time.

May we give you a shot list?

Sorry, but I do not take shot lists. I find that shot lists hinder me because it draws my attention away from your wedding. I often find that if you assign a person to guide me towards those “must-have” shots, it is more efficient. This person can be a close relative or friend.
