Greetings from the sunny South Florida! This Friday, I had the pleasure of photographing Amelia and Arturo’s wedding. You may remember them from their engagement session a few months ago.
The nearly two and a half hour ceremony was one to remember as it included guests from all over the world including Spain and Puerto Rico and five priests presiding over the celebration. After the ceremony at St. Patrick’s Church, we headed over to the Ronald W. Shane Center in Miami Beach where Patricia Pozas from Foodie Catering and Events had everything looking fabulous!
Amelia and Arturo, thank you for allowing me be part of you most memorable day! Please enjoy the previews below!
St. Patrick’s Church was founded in 1926 as the first Roman Catholic Church in Miami Beach. Its beauty and elegance has attracted people from all over the world including well known public figures. The image below looks like a composition done in Photoshop, but it is not. I was just simply blessed with great light! Amelia and Arturo had beautiful weather on their day.

The Groom, Arturo (Art) is seen here holding the wedding bands. His joy radiated in all directions.

The Bride, Amelia (Ame) looked stunning in a simple but very classy dress. I loved her Bouquet!

Ame and Art’s ceremony was celebrated by five priests! Two of them were their life-long pastors from their perspective parishes and the other three are life-long friends whom Amelia, in particular has grown-up with. On the altar, assisting the priests was also Amelia’s brother who is also in the seminary with the Jesuits. It was a solemn ceremony!

Happy Easter everyone! This is the perfect time to tell you about Lindsay and Justin’s wedding last weekend! Lindsay and Justin got married at the Bahia Mar Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale in a beautiful intimate ceremony by the water. They enjoyed a gorgeous South Florida weather that day and a maritime tribute by all the nearby yachts as they fired their horns in celebration of their commitment to each other for one minute after the ceremony. That was simply AWESOME!
Please enjoy some of the photographs of their special day. I had a blast and I hope you enjoy them as well!

If you missed Lindsay and Justin’s engagement session, you can find it here.
Thank you Lindsay and Justin for the great experience and for giving me the honor of being a part of your lives.

Thank you Ana and Jorge for the beautiful ceremony and an amazing time!
Church: St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church
Reception: Coral Gables Women’s Club
Last night I had an unforgettable night photographing two individuals that through the process of capturing their engagement have become very dear to me. This is a pure example of how clients form a long lasting bonds with their photographers and create great friendships within the photography process. They fell in love with the photos taken in the design district. Then a few months later, we traveled to New York for another amazing engagement session. Last night, their wedding took place in the historic Roman Catholic church Gesu. Gesu is a spectacular church located in Downtown Miami. Father Eddy Alvarez S.J. is the pastor. Him and I go a long way as he was my spiritual director for many years, specially when I was in the seminary. Yes! I went to the seminary for two years discerning the vocation to the priesthood. In the end, I did not become a priest as I discerned that I was not called to be one; rather, I received a great formation and a deeper appreciation for the sacrament of marriage. I’m blessed to have found my true vocation…you are looking at it! The reception was celebrated in the Grand Ballroom of the Intercontinental Hotel, where a live band played great music.
Next to me capturing this amazing wedding was Julien for Merge Studios. This was the first time I worked with Julien and I must tell you that he is an amazing cinematographer. His videos speak for themselves as he has an amazing style.
Please enjoy some of the photos of taken last night. These are “hot off the Digital Darkroom” as they were taken just a few hours ago!

Mario and Jeannine: “Thank you for allowing me to be part of your lives and offering me your friendship which is sure to last forever.”
On Novermber 8, I had the pleasure of photographing Erika and Gerardo’s wedding. You may recognize them form their engagement session not too long ago. This explosive Colombo-Venezuelan couple had the time of their lives after a beutiful water front ceremony in an absolutely gorgeous house in Star Island, Miami Beach. Towards the middle of the night, they had “La Hora Loca” and the atmosphere was electric! I had a blast and I feel honored to have been part of such special moment in their lives.
Please find some photos below. Enjoy!

The house was amazing! I was completely in love with it…

“La Hora Loca” (The Crazy Hour)….so much fun!
