I recently joined a BNI (Business Network International) chapter here in Toronto. For those of you that don’t know what a BNI is, let me explain. Business Network International is a North American Organization (exists is both the US and Canada) with hundreds of chapters across the continent. The purpose of the chapters is to market each business member through word-of-mouth referrals. Each chapter is composed of local businesses and the true beauty of it all is that only one business per category is accepted. It is a wonderful way to develop “serious business relationships where network contacts are transformed into referred business.” – BNI Canada.
One of the things I really love about my BNI chapter, is the quality of its members and the energy each brings to the meetings every week. One great example of this positive energy is Jack. Jack Kugelmass has been a member of this group for a few years now and is one of the most energetic individuals in the group. His joyful and humorous attitude make him an exceptional colleague and gives me pride to work with him.
Jack is one of Toronto’s premier Social workers with extensive experience working in the secular and Jewish communities in the area. I think that what makes Jack an exceptional social worker is his amazing attitude. He is extremely approachable and easy to talk to.
Jack came to me with the request to take his portraits. He wanted portraits that reflected who he was as an individual and not something “posed” or formal. So I visited his office and took some shots. Let the images speak for themselves. Enjoy!
