Today we went to the Elora Gorge Conservation Area with the whole family for a family fun-filled day. The day was incredible with temperatures in the upper 27 degrees C (80 degrees F). Aside from a frightening moment where Bruno almost fell off a ledge into the gorge (we were lucky to have him on leash!!) the day was simply AWESOME!! Towards the end of the day, we settled on a nearby green area to rest and I decided to take some portraits of my wife and Bruno. Finally, Marcela my sister-in-law took the ones of all of us together. I’m happy to share them with you. Enjoy!

Toronto’s Fashion Week kicked off yesterday with four runway shows styled by: Gaudet, preloved, Jules Power, and Ryerson University’s School of Fashion. I particularly enjoyed Gaudet’s show because of their use of strong colors, but in the end, the Ryerson students gave the audience a terrific show with “Dinner is served’ as their theme.
The world of fashion comes together in Toronto and I’ll be in the front row to cover it all! The week kicked off last night with a runway show by IZMA designers Izzy Camilleri and Adrian Mainella. I’ll be updating every day as to the progress of the show so subscribe to my RSS feed or visit often for the latest on Toronto’s Fashion Week!

If you have been reading my blog lately, you already know this post was coming! A few weeks ago, I introduced to you Diana Velez, one of Toronto’s hottest fashion designers. Diana and I met randomly at a function and have formed a really great friendship. To those of you who know us both, this should come to no surprise as we are both very passionate about what we do and there is no better partnership than that of a photographer and a fashion designer! As Diana was getting ready to launch her new line, she commissioned me with the project of capturing her designs for her latest catalog.
Immediately, the hunt for the best models and make-up artist began. The project took three full weeks of planning leading to it’s culmination last weekend. We photographed four gorgeous models wearing incredible designs by Diana and embellished by two incredibly talented Make-up artists. Moreover, we made the event public by converting her retail space into a full-working studio and opening the doors to the public. With these gorgeous models, let’s just say we had many heads turned and a nice crowd of spectators. I hope you enjoy the images below and leave me your comments!

Before you do anything else, head over to Diana‘s Retail Store, located at Sheppard Centre. Visit her website for the address. If you are looking for something truly unique to wear, this is definitely the place to go.
